"There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens." ~ Ecclesiastes 3:1

The asphalt on the road's darker. The trees almost always lined with dewdrops. The air, constantly stirred by a somewhat invisible fog. There's a spindrift in the atmosphere, that floats about like playful dandelions, gently grazing whatever it touches with a gossamer-like subtlety. The now slightly cooling temperatures evaporate the last remaining remnants of the summer heat. As all bright, blinding shades of pastels and neons turn into rich and vibrant hues of oranges and browns. Fall colors blanketing all in a ghostly, almost airbrushed softness.

With the Autumn Equinox having been upon us, that now it wraps the atmosphere with a Fall ambiance, and Winter Solstice not all that far behind, just teasingly peeking around the (frozen) corner...let us welcome the new season, and marvel in awe as leaves change colors, and the air carries with it a certain crisp and coolness that command a warmth and a peace only Autumn can bring.
